Finding your passion is not something thatโs going to happen overnight.
It is a slow and gradual process which involves going deep within, peeling the layers, uncovering the unwrapped gifts and meeting newer sides you never really imagined.
Regardless of which stage of life you are at the moment, ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ 12 ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ :
1. Create space and time to hear that inner voice which can often get drowned in the humdrum of life
2. Understand that things that light you up are in fact the way you go about lighting up the world and creating your magic
3. Stop trying to shrink or fit into a box of expectations thrust upon you; sometimes the greatest happiness can be found when you choose to colour outside the lines and live beyond the box
4. Follow your gut and intuition; step out of your head for a moment and let your heart lead the way
5. Remember there is no right answer, perfect path or correct road that leads you to your passion; and many times you will need to get it wrong before you go on to get it right
6. If you wait to have all the answers or the most opportune time to start acting on your calling, you could probably be waiting forever
7. Know that your passion is not timeless; it is bound to change and evolve in the same manner that you do
8. Detach from others’ expectations and labels and let your real and most authentic self emerge
9. The more convinced you are about your passion, the lesser approval and validation you will need from people around you
10. Comparing yourself and your talents to others can be the highest disservice you can do to your passion
11. Nothing is ever wasted; every single thing that has happened to you up to this moment was paving the way for you to get closer to your passion. (As Steve Jobs rightly said – It’s only in looking back that the dots begin to connect)
12. Lastly, the JOURNEY is as important or in fact more than the ARRIVAL. Donโt forget to enjoy the process of your unfolding.
